What is PEC?

PEC (Posta Elettronica Certificata - Certified Email) is a digital communication system that has the same legal value as a registered letter with return receipt. It is regulated in Italy by Presidential Decree 68/2005.

Who is required to have PEC?

All businesses (SRL, SPA, SNC, SAS, etc.), professionals registered with professional bodies (lawyers, accountants, architects, etc.) and, from 2025, also company directors.

Can I use PEC on a custom domain?

Yes, you can have your PEC on a custom domain (e.g. name@pec.yourcompany.it). Contact us for a quote.

How long is a PEC valid?

The PEC mailbox has annual validity and renews automatically. Delivery receipts are valid for 10 years.
